Avalanche 98 Black, coached by Gabe Smart and Shellene McKendrick were crowned champions at  the Silver State Invitational in Las Vegas.  The team went undefeated allowing only 1 goal during regulation play, and defeating teams from Colorado, Nevada, & SoCal.  The girls took the championship with a hard-fought final game against the SoCal State Semi-Finalists winning 3-2 in PK’s.  Congratulations Girls!!!

Congratulations to the Avalanche 92 Black team coached by Joanna Barney, who made history by winning the U19 Super Division of the 2009 Surf College Cup.  In the tournament's 45 year history, no other Utah girls team has ever won a Surf Super Division title.  The girls went undefeated facing the So Cal finalists and semi-finalists in pool play, and beating Real So Cal, the #2 team in the country, reigning So Cal State Champs & Region Finalists in the semi-finals. Avalanche 92 defeated Surf White in the finals 1-0 securing the title.
